An unlikely hero, who through a bit of magic, shrinks down to the size of a bug. Thrust into the world of butterflies, fireflies, ants and bees our hero learns big lessons about life, our planet, caring for others and saving the bees.

Maeve Brady (Alex) is a New York based singer/actor, and devisor originally from New Jersey. Maeve graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Psychology and a certificate in theater from the Lewis Center for the Arts. Recent credits include Hippolyta /Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Princeton Summer Theater), Douglas and others in The Whale in the Hudson (Yale Cabaret) and Carolyn in SCUM an original devised work. Favorite pas roles include Heidi in [title of show] (Fearless Productions) and Lenny in Crimes of the Heart (Cranford Dramatic Club). Follow Maeve on IG @maeveala_

Sam Leichter (Bugs/Playwright/Puppet Design) played the part of the Duke in The New Collectives recent production M4M. Sam is the Education Director for The New Collectives, and previously appeared in The Trojan Women and The Witches.
Recently: Measure for Measure and Henry IV pt. 1 (Hip to Hip Theatre Co.), double duty as Don John and Dogberry in Much Ado (New York Shakespeare Exchange), and A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (The Night Shift). Sam received his MFA from Rutgers, BA from Bates College. samleichter.com

Sarah Moore (Bugs/Puppet Design) is a New York City based actress/creator/producer, originally hailing from Florida. She is the Associate Artistic Director/Producer of The New Collectives. Sarah graduated from the Hartt School in Hartford CT summa cum laude with a BFA in acting and a minor in English. She has studied abroad in England focusing predominantly on Shakespeare, toured the country performing on a national tour, and has worked all around the city! Recent acting credits include: M4M (The New Collectives), Life Brief & Glorious (The New Collectives @ IRT Theater), Steve Got Raped (The New Collectives), The Witches (The New Collectives/Wandering Bark), A Christmas Carol (The Hartford Stage Company), The Importance of Being Earnest (Royalty Free Theater) and a national tour of Encore!! (Chamber Theater). Other favorite productions include Stage Door, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Pride and Prejudice, Coram Boy, Julius Caesar, 12 Angry Women, Marat/Sade, The Man Who Came to Dinner, and Our Town. When she isn't collaborating and creating works of theater, Sarah spends her days at My Gym on the UES as the Director and Lead Teacher of the facility. Sarah is very passionate about The New Collectives and strives to spread their mission and bring theater to a vast audience base through her creative, producing and theatrical work.

Giverny Petitmermet (Bugs/Playwright/Puppet Design) is a New York based actor/producer/director/creator originally from San Diego, California. She is the Artistic Director/Executive Producer of The New Collectives and the lead teaching artist for The Young Collectives education program. Giverny is also a founding member of BREAD Arts Collective. Some of her New York credits include: M4M (The New Collectives); Life Brief & Glorious (The New Collectives); The Trojan Women (The New Collectives); Waiting for Lefty (BREAD Arts Collective); The Witches (The New Collectives/Wandering Bark); Rise and Fall (BREAD Arts Collective); All’s Fair (Six Western) (Oracle Theatre Co); The Crucible (Sink or Swim Rep), The Burning House (Studio Maya Workshop); WAKE (Aisling Arts). Justin Ivan Brown (Director/Puppet Design) is the Artistic Content Curator/Event Manager for The New Collectives. He directed their most recent show M4M, a reimagining of Shakespeare's Measure for Measure and appeared in their 2018 production of Life Brief & Glorious. Justin has spent the last 20 years performing as an actor and activist, blending the two with companies such as The Disability Project, Variety Children’s Charity, Interaction Theatre Co., and now The New Collectives. Kristin McCarthy Parker (Lighting Design) is a New York-based director. Her work includes Puffs (New World Stages), Monsoon Season (AFO/Rattlestick), Hold On To Your Butts, Fly You Fools, Kapow-i GoGo (The PIT), the web series Awkwardly, and is the co-founder of critically-acclaimed comedy group Recent Cutbacks. She has also directed and developed work at Primary Stages, Pittsburgh CLO Spark Festival, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Ma-Yi, Columbia University, Rutgers University, and the University of Florida, among others.
