Cast:

Gabriela Alvarado (Dancer) Gabriela is a Rutgers University Cum Laude graduate from Los Angeles, CA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. Gabriela attended Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London and worked with choreographers Gary Lambert and Melanie Clark. During her year abroad, she participated in the Dance Ireland Gaga intensive under Keren Rosenberg in Dublin. At Mason Gross School of the Arts, she had the privilege of dancing for Keith Thompson, John Evans, Laura Peterson, and Randy James as well as Kim Gibilisco. Currently based in New York City, Gabriela has worked with Hysterika Jazz Dance Company under Barbara Angeline and is currently working with Emotions Physical Theatre alongside Shawn Rawls. She continues to stay inspired as well as get involved with collaborations amongst fellow artists.

Shawn Brush (Dancer)
Shawn Brush, from Woodbridge, NJ and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2015. He currently dances for Keith Thompson and has danced for Laura Peterson Choreography, Meagan Woods company, Hillary Pearson, and apprenticed with 10 Hairy Legs. In the summer off 2014 he performed in Donmus Ruya (Frozen Dream), an immersive dance piece set in SantralIstanbul in Istanbul, Turkey. Shawn is also a teaching artist, currently teaching at several public schools in New Jersey.

Don Burroughs (Narrator)
Don Burroughs is excited to be working with work with The New Collectives on this production that has allowed him to revisit his dance roots. New York credits: The Full Monty, Mamma Mia, Dessa Rose (Lincoln Center), Reunion – A Civil War Musical, 3 Men on a Horse. His many regional credits include: Picasso in Picasso at the Lapin Agile (The Denver Center); Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing (Cincinnati Playhouse); Barrett in Titanic (Maine State Music Theater); Homer in Floyd Collins (Skylight Opera); Elyot in Private Lives (Repertory Theater of St Louis); Rooster in Annie (Walnut Street Theater); The Old Man in A Christmas Story (Pioneer Theater Company); Albert Adam in The Play’s The Thing (ACT San Francisco); Puck in Midsummer Nights’ Dream (Virginia Stage Company/ Virginia Symphony); 5 seasons with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival; 4 seasons with the Utah Shakespeare Festival; 4 seasons with PCPA Theaterfest; and 2 seasons with the California Shakespeare Festival. He has appeared as a principle on All My Children and ABC’s The Bronx Zoo. He has directed, choreographed and taught regionally and is the executive producer of the debut CD of The Hot Club of Las Vegas: Featuring Carol Linnea Johnson (a gypsy jazz band). He is currently a senior and founding agent with Bohemia Realty Group and has enjoyed a successful hybrid career for the past 6 years. Originally from Los Angeles, Don has made New York his home for the past 20 years with his amazing wife, Carol, and daughter, Linnea.

Colin Holbrook (Dancer)
Colin was born in Boston, MA and lived on the east coast until he moved with his family to Washington state at the age of nine. While still playing traditional competitive sports, he took his first ballet class at 17 and enjoyed the new athletic challenge. Soon after starting his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, Colin enrolled in his first modern dance class, loved it, and decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in dance. He has performed works by Ihsan Rustem, Kathleen Hermsdorf, Lindsey Matheis and others, and has toured in the U.S., Europe, the Caribbean, and China.

Elysia Roscoe is a freelance dancer, dance teacher, and costumer based in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated summa cum laude from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Elysia began her formal dance training at Dance Fremont in Seattle, Washington under the direction of Vivian Little and Mary Reardon. At Mason, she was a recipient of the Provost's Achievement Award from 2012 to 2014, the Kevin Campbell Scholarship in 2013, and the Harriet Mattusch Special Recognition Award in 2014. She has performed the works of Jacqulyn Buglisi, Francesca Harper, Mark Morris, Sonia Dawkins, William Smith III, Jim Lepore, Vanessa Long, and Victoria Shadle. She is the wardrobe assistant for Naomi Luppescu Designs, and Mark Eric Rodriguez at The Ailey School. She also teaches creative dance at The School at the Mark Morris Dance Center.

Performance credits include: CATS (nat'l tour dance cpt./swing) A Chorus Line, Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret, and Chicago (regional). Dance companies: STREB, Grounded Aerial, Kinetic Dance Co.

Most known for his "Let's Have a Kiki" choreography for the internationally acclaimed group the Scissor Sisters/GLEE (FOX). He has also worked with other musicians on numerous videos - Chrissi Poland (Bette Midler "It's the Girls" tour) Caleb Hawley (American Idol-numerous tv spots). Brad is also a choreographer for NYC based project called GIG which seeks to provide a blend of fresh, original music and dance by inviting collaboration between the two fields (GIGtheshow.com). Molly was also a founding member of Lauren Beirne Dance Works from July 2015-2016. In December 2016, Molly and Shawn Brush premiered their first choreographic debut at STUFFED at Judson Church

Joseph DiGiovanna (Composer)
Joseph DiGiovanna is a Filmmaker and Composer based in New York City. Recent credits include an original piano composition for a Blackberry commercial announcing their new phone and cinematography for Bruce Weber’s short film Date With Dad, the first film in Bruce Weber’s All American series. Joseph is honored to have been cinematographer for Bruce Weber over the years on projects for clients including Gucci, Dior Homme, Shinola, British Vogue, Ralph Lauren, CR Magazine, T Magazine, Abercrombie & Fitch, Barneys, and Vanity Fair. This past summer Joseph wrote original music for the independent feature film Waking the Wild Colonial, original music for director John Jamiel’s production of Twelfth Night and also wrote original music for the short film The Pond, which is the first in a series of films directed by Regina Harris and Gerald DecCock.
