• The final show in our 2017 season, The Trojan Women, opens November 1st at The Balcony Theatre at The Center at West Park! We have assembled an amazing cast and creative team and can't wait to share the show with an audience!

• The Young Collectives' Shakespeare Camps are in full swing! We are having a blast. Follow us on Instagram for a glimpse at our action packed days!
•The limited run of The Occasion of Existence, is a dance theatre piece based on Alan Lightman's book Einstein's Dream, in June was a great success. We played to full houses each show. If you missed us in June, you can catch a screening of the film of the show Friday, August 11th @ Court Tree Collective. Find out more info HERE.

• Join Education & Outreach Director, Erin Maxon and Artistic Director, Giverny Petitmermet at Arts in Education Roundtable's Face to Face Conference. They will be presenting a two-part workshop, "Positive Classroom Management Techniques for Teaching Artists" on April 12th!
• Can't make it to Face to Face, no worries! Join us for our professional development workshop, Positive Behavior Management Techniques for Teaching Artists, on May 7th from 1p to 4p at A.R.T./ New York. Stay tuned for sign up details.

Winter 2017:
• Over the past year, company member Mara Gannon has written a solo show, Buyer's Remorse. We are thrilled to announce that Buyer's Remorse will be produced this February and March as part of The 2017 FRIGID Festival at UNDER St. Marks. Tickets can be bought HERE.
Summer 2016:
• We are thrilled to announce that The New Collectives have been accepted to the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival! FringeNY "couldn't wait" to let us know that our show was accepted, that they let us know "as early as possible!" This August, we will be producing the Steve Got Raped. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for updates!
• There is still time to sign up for The Young Collective: Shakespeare Camp! this summer. But be sure to sign up now while there is still space!
• This year we are proud to announce our TYC Scholarship Program, which awards one elementary-aged and one middle school student free tuition to a summer camp session (a $415 to $830 value). This interest-based scholarship is for students aged 7-14. The application, which requires parental approval, can be found HERE and may be downloaded. Deadline for submission is June 1, 2016.
• We are now offering School Workshops. Know a school that is looking for a one-off Shakespeareance? Are you a member of a school that needs one more arts workshop to fill in their field trip budget? We can serve classrooms up to 30 students for ages 7 to 14. Themes and plays vary. TYC workshops are a fun, active way to break in to an intimidating, and academically-valuable subject - Shakespeare. • We are in the process of developing two new plays, a contemporary work by LA based playwright Sam Gooley and a modern adaptation of A Midsummer's Nights Dream set in a bar called Bottom's Up. We will be holding readings throughout the spring. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter for updates!
